"Let the Sun not set early". The LOBA Health Initiative has been launched.
This initiative has its genesis in the shocking reports that we were very regularly receiving of Loyolites young and old, with no history of any illness, passing away much before their time. It was a matter of great concern to the entire community. We could not afford to be silent spectators and continue to lose members of our community for lack of awareness or lack of facilities for detection of early warning signs. It is with the aim of spreading awareness and creating the required facilities for detection and timely treatment for our community that we launched this project.
In a first move of its kind, we have covered as beneficiaries, the entire Loyola Community which includes, LOBA members (their spouses, children and parents), Teaching and Non-teaching staff (both present and past) and the students currently studying in the school and their parents.
What was initially envisaged as a purely small initiative to encourage LOBA members to undergo routine health checks, has blossomed into an initiative with a much larger scope and a much larger group of beneficiaries. To fulfill the aims of this initiative, we have empanelled reputed hospitals and Laboratories in major towns across the state which will render a range of diagnostic and other services across specialties to the LOBA Community at reasonable rates. This list will keep growing over time.
All that you have to do to avail of these facilities is to present an identity card, the generation of which takes just a few minutes using this application. Wishing you and your loved ones, a long and healthy life.
